WAYS TO SUPPORT US

Donors are an essential and valued part of HCO. Through their generosity, we can provide the quality performance opportunities that our selected young artists need and our audiences love.

 

Run by an unpaid staff, HCO receives no public funding. In common with many arts organisations, ticket income goes only part way to covering our costs. So, particularly in the current challenging climate, we are hugely grateful to our donors who help to fund this gap.

 

They share our belief that high-calibre vocal talent needs to be nurtured and given platforms from which to inspire audiences. They share our commitment to keep tickets affordable, to tempt young people with free or reduced-price entry and to perform in local venues.

Become a Friend

Friends receive these exclusive benefits:

  • Advance notice of all events

  • Priority booking (without fee) and reserved seats for recitals and concerts if booked directly via  Andrew Foot

  • Quarterly newsletter with updates on singers’ progress

  • Your name in all programmes

 

Annual minimum cost: £40 for an individual; £60 for joint membership.

Become a Patron

Patrons receive all Friends benefits plus:

  • Free opera programmes

  • Invitation to attend an opera rehearsal, meet the cast and creative team

  • Exclusive invitations to concerts and receptions hosted by the Artistic Director

  • A dedicated member of the Hurn Court Opera team who will act as your personal link with the organisation.

 

Annual minimum cost: £500 for an individual; £750 for joint membership.

One-off donations

You may not want to support us regularly, but a one-off donation is a wonderful bonus to us.

Sponsor an artist 

You may like to pay the fee of an individual singer for a recital or opera, or perhaps cover the cost of an instrumentalist. Or you might like to sponsor a whole recital or opera. Sponsorship opportunities start at £250.
